I will have better installation instructions here at some point, but for now:

Untar the distribution and cd into the directory it untars into
./configure
- You can add --prefix=path to specify a different install path.
- You can add --with-default-server=server to specify a different default jabber server.
- --help will get you all of the configuration options.
make
make install

The JWGC suite will be installed in /usr/local by default with a default server of jabber.org.
